Generating Inquiry
Students will be able to generate and explore genuine lines of inquiry related to writing, language, literacy, and/or rhetoric.

Reflection
Within my time in this course, I will be conducting research on a desired topic that does not involve any form of human or animal research. Within the first couple weeks I have been able to choose a research topic and investigate ways in which I can question and analyze different components within this topic.
The topic I have decided to research is the numerous ways in which the Simpsons have seemingly anticipated future events. There have been multiple occasions where the Simpsons have created episodes in which there is a relation to events that happened in real time following the release of these Simpsons episodes.
Within the discussion post, Preparing to Research, I was able to create a research question on this topic that can be continuously investigated throughout my time in the course. It has allowed me to apply the numerous questions and different thoughts into an investigative process that can be further expanded upon. My research will be able to look at numerous different components of the Simpsons such as, their dialogue and context. I can then use my observations as a basis to answer the question I have formulated.
I will not only be able to answer the research question I was able to create, but I will also be able take a proper approach to have the best results due to the readings that were provided in this discussion post. I can then use these resources to properly investigate my desired topic.
