Reflection
Being able to apply the different sources and evidence that is associated with a certain topic in my writing is important to form an effective piece of writing. Within this course a key component we have gone over is AI usage and reliability. Within the Video Response: Coded Bias, a documentary goes into further detail of the inconsistent and often biased results that lie within AI. Once I watched this video, I had to apply it to the other information I have learned in relation to AI usage.
Within this assignment I was able to make connections on the many different assignments and information that we have gone over throughout our time in this course. I was able to come to the conclusion that while AI is a helpful tool, it can be unreliable and discriminatory. Additionally, I was able to apply this information in class as we discussed the different parts that go into AI.
Each of the different sources that we have gone over in relation to AI usage all correlate and contribute to the conclusion that I have drawn. Relating all the information leads to a deeper understanding. Incorporating this information into my own writing has helped me form more effective writing.

After reviewing this learning outcome, I have decided to expand on ways this outcome has been applied and achieved. Now that the final steps are going towards our research deliverable, I have been able to apply my own personal findings into my research and been able to combine it with the analysis and findings of other reputable sources.

I, not only, have to ensure my information is factual and well-supported, I also have to indicate ways in which the other sources speak with each other as well as with my own findings. A key assignment that aided in this process was the Literature Review and Annotated Bibliography. Within this assignment I had to show the relationship between my sources as well as summarize each source and tie it back to the ways in which it helps my own research. This allowed me to directly contribute new knowledge with existing knowledge in an effective and impactful format.
