Multiple Ways of Writing
Students will be able to purposefully integrate multimodality, multiple languages, and/or multiliteracies into writing products to support their goals.

Reflection
It is often overlooked that different contexts can hold a different weight or severity of the same message. Within one of the first reading assignments within this course, Kara Taczak's "The Importance of Transfer in Your First Year Writing Course,” I was able to further understand the importance of writing in different contexts and its variation.
Within this assignment I was able to reflect upon the words of Taczak and provide my own outlook and understanding of this concept. It allowed me to gain a more in-depth comprehension of the ways in which writing can vary and still hold a meaningful message. Additionally, it aids in examining different pieces of writing and the underlying message or components that make the writing impactful.
While this assignment did help me better understand the various form writing can take, I still have to apply it in my own writing. I will be able to further understand the multiple ways of writing as I continue to work on my research paper and use various forms of observations into the Simpsons, their dialogue, and the different images used throughout the show.
Within the research paper there will be different analytical components present as well as descriptions of images to further the impact of different forms of writing. This can include a dialogue, a comedic response, or even the use of a different language to prove a point.
